Contests And Awards

Our 4,000 EC Giveaway contest is over. Congratulations to Kranjcarz, the grand prize winner of 2,500 credits. Kranjcarz is also a great place to check out the latest contests around the blog world. From EC prizes to cash and Ipods, they keep a great list running and are a handy resource.

As for blogging awards, this site has recently been given two of them, and I wanted to recognize and appreciate those who have awarded me and pass them on real quick. I hope this isn’t cheating, but I’m going to kill two birds with one stone here.

Renee at Cutie Booty Cakes passed the Brainy Blog Award on to me. The Kick Ass Blogger Award comes via William at Killer Buffalo. Here are the sites that I want to go ahead and pass these awards along to.

1. The BoBo Files. You can’t help but enjoy this site. Unless, of course, maybe if you are a liberal. Either way, the content is at least humorous and informative. That’s a great combination which makes it both Brainy and Kick Ass. Check this one out. You’re sure to be entertained.

2. Natural State Hawg. This is a blog that covers a wide variety of topics. It is some good reading, and I think you guys will enjoy it.

3. Caledonian Comment. This is one of my everyday “Must Reads”. This blog does a good job of covering world wide politics. I am so focused on what is going on here in the U.S. that I appreciate this little window to the rest of the world this site offers. True, it’s oppinionated like this blog, but it will keep you up to date on the happenings around the world.

4. KiwiPulse. Another wide variety topic site. A lot of interesting topics, and great pictures. It lives up to it’s slogan. It will rock your world.

5. Blanca Debree Blog. Though the politics are left, the humor is right on. I can say this because I am a right winger, and this blog is diametrically opposed to my views. So, if you don’t find this blog funny, check your pulse, cuz your either dead or a Socialist.

Great Song

In an effort to spruce up the site a bit, I have designed a new logo for the site, incorporating our new slogan "Your world, my spin". Adding beauty and glamor to the logo is the image of Kaly, a lovely young lady from the great state of Arizona.

Kaly graciously allowed me to use her image in the logo, and it would not be complete without it. I am very grateful to her for this, and would like to use this opportunity to thank her from the bottom of my heart. While her physical beauty can clearly be seen, her inner beauty is equally as visible to those who get to know her. It is an honor and privilege to have her image representing The Axis of Stevil.
